Hearth and Hamlet on Switch, PS5, Xbox & Mobile?

PlatformStatusDetail
PC - Windows Available Windows 10 64-bit minimum, Windows 11 recommended. This is the primary build.
PC - Linux Available The Steam store page lists a native Linux build alongside Windows. No SteamOS-specific rating has been issued.
Steam Deck Playable, not rated No Steam Deck Verified or Playable badge has been assigned yet. The native Linux build and a 2 GB VRAM / 1 GB storage floor are what a Deck needs; treat performance as unverified until Valve rates it.
macOS Not available The store page lists Windows and Linux only - there is no Mac build and none has been announced.
Nintendo Switch Not announced No Switch version exists and the developers have not mentioned one in any announcement through August 24, 2026.
PlayStation 5 Not announced No PS5 version. Searches for 'hearth and hamlet ps5' are common, but nothing has been announced by the developer or a publisher.
Xbox Series X|S Not announced No Xbox version and no Game Pass listing.
Android / iOS Not announced There is no official mobile port. Anything on a mobile store using this name is not from Phorust Studios.
GOG Not available Steam is the only storefront listed. There is no DRM-free GOG release.
itch.io Not available The game is not sold on itch.io despite the search volume - the demo period ran on Steam, not itch.
Epic Games Store Not available No Epic release has been announced.

Status columns reflect what Phorust Studios and the Steam store page actually list on the date above. Nothing here is a prediction - where no version has been announced, the row says so.

Why a console port is not a given

Hearth and Hamlet is built around click-and-hold harvesting and a research book full of small tooltips - two things that need rework before a controller or a touchscreen makes sense. Patch 1.0.01 added a Hover to Click option that removes the click-and-hold requirement, which is the kind of change a port would need more of, but the developers have not tied it to any console plan.

What a Deck or Linux user should know

The native Linux build is the same one a Steam Deck would run, and the published floor is modest: a GTX 650 class GPU, 8 GB of RAM and 1 GB of storage. Valve has not issued a Deck rating yet, so battery life and default control mapping are still unverified - full numbers are on the system requirements page.
